Datasheet: The Chameleon - Sound Level Meter

The Chameleon is flexible and economical. In it's most basic form it performs as a Sound Level Meter, but with the addition of inexpensive "Feature Packs" it can be upgraded to an integrating or datalogging sound level meter.

The Chameleon is a single instrument that adapts to the needs of both novice and advanced users. Every Chameleon comes standard with Feature Pack 1,providing the most basic functions of a sound level meter.Additional Feature Packs may be purchased separately to change the Chameleon 's functionality.There are currently four Feature Packs available for the Chameleon.Load a different Feature Pack into the Chameleon at any time to expand its functionality. Feature Packs can be ordered with the Chameleon or at a later date and delivered to you electronically via the Internet.

The Chameleon is so simple-to-use we guarantee you will learn how to calibrate,start and stop the collection of data,view data and clear data in 5 minutes or less --all without reading a cumbersome operators manual. Each datalogging Chameleon is available with our Metrosoft® Software.This software lets you transfer data from the Chameleon to your computer where it can be stored for permanent records.The data can be imported into other Window® programs,such as Excel®, for data analysis and generating graphs and reports.
